In honor of Black History Month, Nandi Owolo set out to share a story that truly celebrates blackness and embracing natural hairstyles. This visual letter details Nandi's own relationship with her hair and how it has evolved as she has grown from an insecure kid to a confident woman proud to show the world who she is. This film first premiered at the USC Women of Cinematic Arts Feminist Media Festival as an Official Selection.
